I'm setting up a website for this because I want a repository for fixed info rather than something that moves stuff into archives. My experience of other peoples technical blogs is that it's hard to find older stuff and there seems to be a lot of circular referencing. I think a traditional website will serve better for the core info, with the blog for news, updates, comments etc. The link will be up here in the next week or two (it's taken a long time to get here, I want it to be right!).

wtf! I'm a blogging virgin, but I've been working on a simple diy cdi ignition system for about 2 years now. I chose an arduino as controller and an sg3525 as the core of the 12v - 250v dc-dc converter. I now have working system and here is where I want to share it with the world. The full description, circuit diagram, parts list and arduino code will be posted soon. I have borrowed liberally from all those generous enough to publish schematics etc. on the web. I am no electronics guru, my interests are cars and motorbikes, but I couldn't find what I needed elsewhere, so I made my own!
